Ambiental recording of the magnificent duo performance by composer Jasna Veličković and violinist Manja Ristić at the Spectrum East event #2 in Belgrade //
Veličković is known by pushing the limits of contemporary composition for over a decade, and as a first peek of a genius she brings us her own instrument VELICON - a custom-designed magnetic interface consisting of permanent magnets in the form of spinning metal balls and vibrating coils.
Ristić applies wide range of unusual resonances conceptualized and developed in her latest improv-performance-notation system Violin Revealed.
Spectrum East is "an unusual space for the arts" run as a free zone for new approaches in improv and sound related arts performance, run by harpist Milana Zarić and composer Richard Barrett.
